About the event

Jessica will be joined by Consuela Marshall who is an Occupational Therapist, Certified Aging in Place Specialist, Fall Prevention Specialist and founder of Finding A Foothold, an Aging & Caregiving Consultant Service. 

Consuela has worked on Inpatient Rehab and Skilled Nursing Units and has over 25 years of providing home health Occupational Therapy services, having entered 1000's of homes, working with individuals and families living with various injuries, disabilities and debilitating orthopedic and neurological disorders. 

In this workshop we will illuminate some of the challenges families face as we help our loved ones age in place and provide concrete strategies for how we can make our loved one's safer in the home. We will also address how you, the caregiver, can do things safely while supporting your loved one. 

Even if you are not yet at this stage of your caregiving journey come and learn so you can be well-prepared when the time does come! Can't wait to see you there!
