THE BEST IS YET TO COME.
Can I Have It All? Balancing Caregiving & My Full Time Career
Wed, Feb 21
|Via Zoom
I became the full time caregiver of my mother at the age of 26. I had no other option I had to work full time to be able to provide for myself and my mom living with early onset Alzheimer's Disease. I always get the question, "how did you care for your mom and build your career?" It's possible!

About the event
50% of caregivers provide over 40 hours of care to their care recipients per week while balancing a FULL-TIME JOB!
It is no secret that there are so many of us who are trying our very best to show up for the people we care for and the professional jobs we hold...it's tough, it's exhausting, and often feels like "no one sees us."
I have been the full-time caregiver of my mother for the last nine years and I have been working and building my career alongside this caregiving journey (not to mention for the first five years I was a long-distance caregiver). While we cannot control our companies, organizations and systems we work for we do have a few things within our locus of control to make holding our caregiving lives and careers a little more manageable.
In this workshop we will tackle the mindsets, the boundaries and the routines/systems we need in place so that we can thrive as caregivers and professionals. Join us if you are on this journey or are preparing to start this journey!
**this workshop is for the CAREGIVER. I will create a separate space for those leaders of organizations, companies and workplaces that desire to show up better for their employees that are family caregivers.
