welcome to my space

hey there!

I'm a full-time, millennial caregiver of my mother living with Alzheimer's Disease. I am also an educator, a people developer, and an executive leader. I have spent the last eight years navigating what it means to show up for myself, to show up for my mother and to continue to grow & evolve in my career and I have learned some major lessons along the way. I hope you learn a little bit more about me and a lot more about the ways you can be a better partner, friend, colleague, employer, healthcare worker for your loved ones who are caregivers.

Jessica C. Guthrie

I consider it not just a responsibility but the utmost privilege that I get to care for my mother on this journey through Alzheimer's Disease. She cared for me to ensure I had the greatest access, resources and experiences growing up, now it is my turn to do the very same for her. Caring for her is an active & intentional choice I make every day.
